What is Quality Check (QC)?
A quality check is conducted when the seller ships the orders to the drop off station. One of Jumia’s representatives will inspect your products and check the following:
- Product packaging
- Your product matches the details in the product’s page on JUMIA website.
– The objective of quality inspection is divided into two parts:
Protecting the customer from receiving wrong/defective/used products and avoiding customer dissatisfaction.
Protecting you from product returns, low seller score, and losing customers.

- Brand
- Color
- Size
- Model
- Other specifications (weight / length / etc.)
What are the consequences of failing the quality check?
You product might not pass the quality check in the following cases:
– The product and/or the packaging is faulty.
– The product is different from the one on the Seller Center.
– Counterfeit product.
– Used product
– Your product is missing the product code label.
