The list of commissions deducted from sellers which differs according to the category. The commission is fixed whether your products are in your warehouse or Jumia’s warehouse.

All commissions include 14% VAT.
NB
Minimum commission rate is only applied to commissions lower than 10 EGP, which means that commissions with a value less than 10 EGP will be increased to achieve the minimum rate which is 10 EGP.
Products commissions that are 10 EGP or more will be calculated as usual as shown in the previous table based on Jumia’s commissions without any change.
The minimum commission rate will not be applied to products categorized under Jumia Express, products from the supermarket category, and baby diapers
Examples
- If the price of a fashion product in your warehouse is 100 EGP, the commission will be 11.4 EGP
- If the price of a computer accessory in your warehouse is 100 EGP, the commission will be 11.4 EGP
- If the price of a computer accessory in your warehouse is 50 EGP, the commission will be 11.4 EGP because the minimum commission rate will be applied which is 10 EGP
- If the price of a computer accessory in Jumia’s warehouse is 50 EGP, the commission will be 5.7 EGP because the minimum commission rate will not be applied on Jumia Express products
