Introduction to the Seller Score

The seller score is calculated based on your performance during the previous 4 weeks. The seller score is updated on a weekly basis.

It is calculated according to three criteria: your cancellation rate, the processing time of your orders, and the quality of your products delivered.

What happens if I have a low Seller Score?

In order to guarantee a good experience to all your customers, you will pay a customer compensation charge if you cancel the order for your customer, or in case of delay in delivering the order to your drop off station.

The charges per cancelled item will be 2X commission with a maximum amount of 100 EGP

- If the commission of the cancelled item is 15EGP then you will be charged 2x15 = 30 EGP

- If the commission of the cancelled item is 100EGP then you will be charged only 100 EGP

Starting from 2.5% cancellation rate, your account will have a maximum number of orders placed to ensure you fulfill your orders and delight your customers, the below table will show you the DOL (daily order limitation) applied based on the cancellation %

> 10%: Your daily orders = 1 order per day
5% > 10%: Your daily orders = Your average daily capacity
2.5% > 5%: Your daily orders = 1.5 X Your average daily capacity
< 2.5%: No daily order limitation, ship as much as you can !

+1 Mistake = -10,000 Customers

If you make 1 mistake, you lose much more than 1 customer.

You are charged to be rigorous in the management of your online shop. By making sure that the stock of your products is always up to date, you increase your Seller Score and thus your sales.

Note that Initiation Sellers are exempted.

We want to ensure the best customer experience. Our goal is to make sure that your customers get their orders delivered swiftly. If you exceed the mentioned 48 hours, the order will be cancelled and an additional fee with be applied as shown below :

If the percentage of items returned with the reason BAD Quality exceeds 2%, those items will be deactivated from your store in order to ensure that your seller score doesn’t decrease, and to ensure a good customer experience.

How can I guarantee I get the highest Seller score?

By making sure that the stock of your products is always up to date.

Your need to drop off your orders at the drop-off station within 48 hours , basically the the status of your orders must be changed from  “Pending” to to “Shipped” within 48 hours.

Your need to make sure that your customers receive good quality products exactly as described by you on JUMIA

The more accurate and detailed your content is (description – Key features – Images…), the more you guarantee less returns.
